'This was only ever issued on 12', and the only issue of Hostage Records - being an independent label formed by Mel Taggart. The two tracks were recorded in a major West End studio, with the artist's name, the 'Players' being the joint name of the singer, James (Jimmy) Patrick and the house band of the producers/writers. It was almost taken up at the time by a certain young A & R man at RCA records, one Simon Cowell, who preferred the 'B' side, 'Taking The Rap'!.
