This is what joie de vivre and pure energy sounds like. This is also the sound of an important part of music history. The 70s rock has a home - Bronze Records. Well-known names, style-defining albums, rich sound. If it should get loud in your living room, here are the matching records. Motörhead, Osibisa, Uriah Heep, almost everyone knows them. But the catalogue is so extensive, worthwhile new discoveries are guaranteed.
Best of the '80s and '90s? At ZTT Records not just a radio slogan. Big pop acts like Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Tom Jones came here to play. If you want to revive these times, this is the right place. Long-forgotten sweethearts can be rediscovered and are waiting to be played out loud again.
Verve was founded in 1956 by Norman Granz, then manager of Ella Fitzgerald, to produce new albums for her. In the following decades, Verve built up the world's largest jazz catalogue with Stan Getz, Billie Holiday, Bill Evans and many others and is still one of the most important addresses for all jazz lovers.
THE medium of the 80's is back and we have increased our stock with classics, box sets and rare editions - largely still sealed. About time to dust off the old tape deck and go on a time travel.
We got our hands on an old stock of mostly still sealed 8-track cartridges. Some of them are even completely unknown to the internet – until now! Exclusive at recordsale. Take a look at this rare but lovely format, you’ll discover some treasures!
Here you will find new products from America and Europe at very fair prices. The US pressings in particular are agreeably priced given their scarcity here in Europe. This is about something very special: Rare pressings from Taiwan from the 1960s. These plates were mainly produced for US soldiers stationed in Taiwan. Usually there were editions of only 500 copies, and if there was a reprint, it was different from the previous one again - even if it was from the same label.
These are therefore only true rarities. They often used coloured vinyl (especially orange and red are common) and often have a unique cover design that has nothing to do with the design of the originals. You can also imagine that the press quality is not the very best, gladly the recording was simply made from an (original) record, since the master tapes were of course not available.
The covers are usually the so-called 'Poly-coated Cardboards Sleeves' typical for South-East Asia. These are two printed thin cardboards covered with PVC, which is welded at the edges and on the back of the board.
So - as already mentioned at the beginning - all around special releases, which should make the heart of many (curiosity) collectors beat faster.

King's label boss Syd Nathan nearly did a huge mistake on the 4th of february 1956: When producer Ralph Bass presented James Brwon and The New Flames' 'Please Please Please', Nathan reacted very harsh. But Bass recorded 3 more tunes and got fired… The single made it up to #6 in the charts – and Bass got his job back. If you are seeking for the great singles of the godfather of soul like 'Cold Sweat', 'Say It Loud', 'Popcorn' or 'Sex Machine', than this is your search may come to an end here.
