You want to sell your records? It's that easy ...

As one of the largest suppliers of used and new records, we are always on the lookout for interesting collections.

We buy complete record collections or shop or warehouse stocks of up to 500,000 LPs and are also happy to buy small and fine private collections.

So, if you want to part with your old records, please contact us. Depending on the size and location of the collection, there are various ways in which the vinyl purchase can be organised.

We stand for uncomplicated processing and fair payment and are happy to collect the records from you if you do not live in Berlin.

1. what is the condition of the collection?

Please get an overview of the condition of your records in advance. If the collection is fundamentally interesting (sought-after styles or artists), the condition of the records is particularly important for determining their value.

This applies to the cover, which should show as few signs of wear as possible or no significant damage, as well as to the vinyl itself, which should have as few or no deep scratches as possible.

It may make sense to create such a list only for the sale. In this case, however, we strongly recommend that you contact us beforehand to find out whether the collection is of interest and whether it is really worth the effort. Photos of the spine of the records are often just as helpful.

2. what are your records worth?

We pay at least one euro per record if it is of interest to us (see below). Depending on the pressing and condition (see above), the purchase price may of course be higher.

There is almost no upper limit for rarities: the highest price for a record sold to date was USD 790,000.

You can get an initial overview of which records we buy and which we don't buy here:

We are happy to buy these records: Which records we do not buy:
  • Rock, Folk, Progressive...
  • Independent publications and punk from the 70s until now
  • Hip-Hop from the 80s until now
  • Jazz / Soul / R&B
  • Beat, rock'n'roll, rock etc. from the 50s and 60s
  • actually all LPs from the 90s and after
  • Hits of the 70s and 80s
  • Hits sampler of the 70s and 80s
  • Classical music from the 70s and 80s
  • Scratched, incomplete or otherwise damaged discs

By the way: We not only buy vinyl, but also CDs and pay the best prices. If we have a written offer from a competitor, we usually beat it by at least 20%.

These CDs are of particular interest to us: Unfortunately, we cannot buy them:
  • Publications from the last five years
  • Albums from the independent / jazz / soul / experimental music / radio plays sector
  • large collections
  • best-of samplers
  • Pop CD singles
  • scratched CDs
  • CDRs

3. how the record purchase works

Smaller collections & individual records

There are four options for selling your collection to us:

1. you can send us photos of the records on which the title and artist, and ideally also the catalogue number, are clearly legible. Here you will find an example photo that you can use as a guide.

2. or you can send us a digital list (Excel, PDF, Word) in which you list the title and artist.

3. if you have a Discogs Collection, simply send us the link or export your collection as a csv file.

4. alternatively you can also come to our office at Hertzstraße 63a, Haus 1, 13158 Berlin (10 minutes from Wilhelmsruh S-Bahn station). Please contact us in advance by e-mail at [email protected] so that we can arrange an appointment. You are also welcome to send us photos of your records in advance.

For larger record collections, we will be happy to come to you to value them. In Berlin and the surrounding area from 500 items, throughout Germany from 2,000 items. Alternatively, you can of course send us a list with the relevant information to obtain an estimate.
