AKA JK is Jonathan Kreinik - aka Limozine Unlimited aka Tanline (1999-2002, not to be confused with Tanlines)- a musician, producer, engineer, DJ, remixer, photographer, and traveller from Washington, DC now living in NYC. JK has been making electronic music and hiding it away since the 80's when he wasn't quite 5 feet tall. Finally some of it started to surface after his long tenure as a live sound engineer. It's entirely possible you've visited and or seen this character in the form of engineer or producer on record sleeves by Trans Am, !!!, Out Hud, Measles Mumps Rubella, the Apes, the Make Up and Frodus, or on tour behind the mixing console with The Rapture, The Presets, Trans Am, Le Tigre, LCD Soundsystem, and a slew of other seminal underground bands. 2009 saw the release of two futurist electronic EPs under his own name on Swedish Columbia ('Darklight' and 'Return To Precinct 13') plus remixes of the long awaited MFA single 'Throw It Back' (Border Community), as well as a critically acclaimed remix for Triobelisk's 'Xrystal Eyez' (Swedish Columbia). AKA JK's first release on Throne of Blood is a reflection of years in basements with sequencers, apartments with Macintoshes, van front seats with laptops, and international flights with Xanex and most importantly his long-standing friendship with the Rapture boys, culminating in this Vito Roccoforte-produced stinger. It's a world-wide dedication to all his DJ friends who rock it out night after night, luring people from their broadband lives to sweat it out and transcend in clubs, bars, on beaches, and venues across the Planet.
