"Three Blind Mice" - A Japanese Audiophile Label

The Three Blind Mice record label is Japan’s audiophile label equivalent to America’s Blue Note Record label, and they focused solely on Japanese jazz artists. The creator was Takeshi Fujii who started the label in 1970. These recordings as highly sought after as they are renowned for the quality of their recordings. The last album was produced in 2004.

Some titles are being currently pressed on Impex Records.

Polish Jazz

Polish Jazz is approaching its 100th anniversary. In 1923, the first Polish jazz band was founded; it was called The Karasiński & Kataszek Jazz – Tango Orchestra and became Warsaw’s most popular dance orchestra. Since then, Jazz has followed it's own unique path in Poland.

What makes the history of Polish Jazz so unique is its role in the quest for democracy and political freedom during the communist period and its being deeply rooted in Polish traditional culture. In the 20th century, jazz was in the avant-garde of democratic processes in Poland and was strongly linked with all genres of art that struggled for artistic independence.

This new collection presents a wonderful selection of Polish Jazz for enthusiasts and also for those interested in bop, post bop, free jazz, modal, avante-garde, swing, big-band, fusion and experimental genre's. In addition, these records present an outstanding selection of unique artwork and idiosyncratic graphic design, found across Polish Jazz album covers.

Audiophile Extravaganza: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab collection

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) is a US record label specializing in the manufacture of audiophile records. The company was founded in 1977 by Brad Miller in California and was quickly able to make a name for itself for the production of high-quality records.

MFSL is especially known for its so-called "Original Master Recordings", which use the original tapes of the artists to produce records with a high-resolution sound quality. The records are cut using special techniques such as half-speed to achieve higher resolution and clarity. Most of MFSL's releases are limited editions and are considered popular collectibles by audiophile aficionados. CDs are also considered as a coveted format.

Over the years, MFSL has collaborated with a wide variety of artists, including Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan and many others.
