'The old songs were good. In The old days you were considered rich or poor by the numbers of songs you had. There were songs for just about everything. You ere poor indeed if you had no song at all. Families kept songs and the very old songs were prizeld gifts from the ancestors.
These Songs were often used in ritual and coremony. There were songs to be sung that would empower bundles. There were secret songs to heal thesick or injured. There were dance songs and songs for divination. There Were charm songs and songs to celebrate the spirits.
All the animals were celebrated in song. When life was coming to a close, many warriors sang a deat song. These songs are mediciane songs to celebrate the new for songs are a doorway to a different system of being.
