Ladies & Gentlemen is run by gentrified connoisseur Phonique, the smart and marvellous DJ & producer, who is known for his releases on Dessous, Mood, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Brique Rouge & many other labels, who travels the world with his sophisticated musical mission and just released his second album ?Good Idea? on Dessous. On the new label he will present his best discoveries from various destinations.Kikiorix is the second signing on Ladies & Gentlemen. Born in 1980, Kikiorix?s DJ career started in 1999 as a techno DJ based in Tokyo. After a while he shifted focus onto more abstract and electronica sounds and starting exploring production.His very first click house tune ?Facial? was featured on ?02? Scissors? compilation released on the Tokyo based Play label with his next offering being snapped up by Quiet Records for their ?Leap? compilation. He moved into UK after a year and was immediately influenced by the European music scene, especially techno and electro music, which naturally began emerging in his productions. In 2005 he released his first 12? on Kingsize. ?Plastic House? is Kikiorix second full release. A great fleetfooted uptempo and snappy house tune. Labelhead Phonique contributes two deeper remixes. The ?Phonique remix? on A1 stays close to original, but comes with a more whippingsnare, while his ?Lighthouse remix? features the beautiful vocals of Georg Levin who already released on Sonar Kollektiv.Pure hypnotic disco for modern dancefloors.[]
