The 'STEREO Also playable on mono' remark on the back cover should be considered a standard statement instead of a representation of the actual content of the release, also because the labels clearly read MONO (see images).
Also, all tracks are sourced from 78rpm shellac originals and contain inherent hiss and crackle, which is also immediately apparent when listening with headphones - it should be noted that all titles on the album were never recorded on tape, but directly to acetate, which was used to create stampers for shellac records.
