Leonard Bernstein made his conducting debut in 1943 with the New York Philharmonic, and over the course of his career, he conducted some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic.
