The Pointer Sisters

The Pointer Sisters are an American R&B and pop music group that was formed in Oakland, California, in 1969. The group initially consisted of sisters June, Bonnie, Anita, and Ruth Pointer, although the lineup changed over the years.

The Pointer Sisters had numerous hit songs throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Yes We Can Can," "How Long (Betcha' Got a Chick on the Side)," "He's So Shy," "Jump (For My Love)," "I'm So Excited," and "Neutron Dance." Their music blended elements of R&B, pop, funk, and soul, and they were known for their energetic live performances and intricate vocal arrangements.
