The Moody Blues

The Moody Blues are an English rock band that formed in Birmingham in 1964. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Denny Laine, bassist and vocalist Clint Warwick, keyboardist Mike Pinder, drummer Graeme Edge, and vocalist and guitarist Ray Thomas. Over the years, the band underwent several lineup changes, with Justin Hayward and John Lodge joining in the late 1960s to become permanent members.

The Moody Blues are best known for their concept albums, which blend rock, classical, and orchestral music. Their breakthrough album, "Days of Future Passed" (1967), featured the London Festival Orchestra and included the hit single "Nights in White Satin." Other notable albums from the band include "In Search of the Lost Chord" (1968), "On the Threshold of a Dream" (1969), and "A Question of Balance" (1970).
