The Blackbyrds

The Blackbyrds, formed in 1973 at Howard University, are an American jazz-funk and R&B group. Initially mentored by jazz trumpeter Donald Byrd, the band gained prominence with their self-titled debut album in 1974, featuring the hit "Do It Fluid."
