George Benson

George Benson is an American jazz guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He was born on March 22, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and began his musical career in the 1960s as a jazz guitarist. Over the years, he has expanded his musical style to include elements of R&B, pop, and soul.

Benson's breakthrough album was "Breezin'," which was released in 1976 and became a huge commercial success, reaching number one on the jazz and pop charts. The album's title track also became a hit single. Benson continued to release successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Weekend in L.A.," "In Flight," and "Give Me the Night."

In addition to his success as a musician, Benson is also known for his smooth and soulful singing voice. Some of his most popular songs include "On Broadway," "This Masquerade," "Turn Your Love Around," and "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You."

Benson has won numerous awards throughout his career, including ten Grammy Awards. He continues to tour and record music to this day.
