Conway Twitty

Conway Twitty was an American country music singer and songwriter. He was born Harold Lloyd Jenkins on September 1, 1933, in Friars Point, Mississippi, and passed away on June 5, 1993, in Springfield, Missouri.

Twitty had a successful career in country music, with his first hit single "It's Only Make Believe" topping the charts in 1958. He went on to have numerous hits over the next few decades, including "Hello Darlin'," "I'd Love to Lay You Down," and "Tight Fittin' Jeans."
