Cat Stevens, initially signed as a folk-pop artist under the name Cat Stevens, rose to fame in the 1960s with hits like "Matthew & Son" and "Here Comes My Baby." After a health setback, he transitioned to introspective music with albums like "Mona Bone Jakon" and "Tea for the Tillerman," featuring classics like "Wild World" and "Father and Son." In 1977, he converted to Islam, adopted the name Yusuf Islam, and retired from music. He returned in 2006 as Yusuf, releasing new albums and collaborating with other artists.
