Music From The Ozarks (Various)

one item in stock

'Liner note credits for the music are fairly incomplete as given by David Mangurian. All recordings were made over twelve hours on one day in August 1958 as community musicians came and went. The only two musicians to be at the session all day are brothers John D. & Lee Mounce. Per the liner notes, instruments were passed around during the recordings so several people played different instruments at different times. The overall group name of Delaney Musician Group is used as an umbrella term when no specific notes are given per song. This is how the Folkways database catalogs these recordings as well.
