'All songs recorded live and selected from two of the concerts performed by Ralph during 1976; the first at London's Royal Albert Hall on Friday 28th May and the second at the Sydney Opera House, Australia on Sunday 8th August.
When the Albert Hall recordings were originally reviewed it was discovered that every time one particular stage light had been switched on it had affected the recording equipment, leaving a noticeable buzzing sound. Thanks to advances in technology it has now been possible to reduce the offending hum, although on some equipment it is still possible to hear a faint sound. After consultations it was felt that it would not interfere with your overall enjoyment of the record.
The album was originally released on Warner Bros. and later on Mays Records. Now released on CD for the first time as Volume 1 of the Songs For Six Strings series, with the addition of some of the tracks that had to be left off the original release.
