Waylon Jennings

Waylon Jennings was an American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist born on June 15, 1937, in Littlefield, Texas. He is known for his outlaw country music style, which combined elements of rock and roll and honky-tonk.

Jennings began his music career in the 1950s as a disc jockey in Lubbock, Texas, and he later moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he worked as a songwriter and recorded his first album in 1964. He rose to prominence in the 1970s with hits such as "Luckenbach, Texas (Back to the Basics of Love)," "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys," and "Good Hearted Woman."
