The booklet describes Parker's way of working as a new technique that revitalises the sound of 78rpm discs into a 'clean stereo impression of how the giants of jazz would have sounded in live performance'. When listening to the actual tracks, however, it is immediately clear the 'stereo impression' is the same as electronically re-channelled stereo or electronically enhanced stereo, which means that the left and right channels have been EQ'ed differently.
