Shakin' Stevens

Shakin' Stevens is a Welsh singer and songwriter known for his rock and roll and rockabilly music. He was born Michael Barratt on March 4, 1948, in Cardiff, Wales.

Stevens began his music career in the 1960s as the frontman of the band Shakin' Stevens and the Sunsets. The band had a number of hits in the UK, including "Hot Dog" and "Merry Christmas Everyone." After the band disbanded in the late 1970s, Stevens launched a solo career and signed with Epic Records.

Stevens continues to perform and record music, and he remains a beloved figure in the rock and roll and rockabilly communities. He was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2019.
