Although many bands have managed to anger parents throughout the past decades, but only few have a reputation as controversial as Ozzy Osbourne, who launched his solo career after being fired from Black Sabbath. Over the course of his career, the band’s ex frontman was titled a satanist, a psychopath and worse. Nevertheless, he had an undisputed impact on heavy metal as a genre and established himself as an international superstar with fans around the globe. He was probably most famous for biting off a bat’s head on stage, thinking it was a toy while it was an alive animal. Following this scandal, there was an Ozzy Osbourne action figure - complete with tiny decapitated bats.
