Das neue Side-Project von Multiinstrumentalist Al Doyle (LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip), Felix Martin (Hot Chip) und Tom Hopkins setzt auf dem Debütalbum 'Yesterday Was Lived And Lost' die Tradition der beiden Hauptbands der Bandmitglieder fort, fügt der Kombination aus Dance Music mit Pop-Appeal allerdings noch weitere Facetten hinzu. Im Schmelztiegelsound aus James Murphys LCD Soundsystem und dem Londoner House-Pop von Hot Chip finden sich auch Einflüsse von The Human League, Robert Wyatt, Cabaret Voltaire oder Brian Eno. Als Gastsängerin ist zudem Janine Rostron alias Planningtorock auf dem Album vertreten.
