Miami Sound Machine

Miami Sound Machine is an American band that was formed in 1975 by Cuban-born singer and songwriter Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio Estefan. The band gained popularity in the 1980s for their fusion of Latin and pop music, with hits such as "Conga" and "Rhythm is Gonna Get You". The Miami Sound Machine was one of the first Latin American groups to crossover into the mainstream American pop market, and paved the way for other Latin acts. The band's success has earned them multiple Grammy Awards and helped establish Miami as a hub for Latin music. Although the band went through several personnel changes over the years, Gloria Estefan remained the face of Miami Sound Machine throughout its career.
