The vinyl four track EP opens up with the Pt. 2 Version of 'The Place', evolving the beatless ambient frame of the Pt. 1 Version of Woehls debut album 'White Sheets' into a dark forceful piece, echoing around the vocals of Locoto and supported by a massive bassline, that dances with a pair of viciously crisp hi-hats and claps. 'This is the place where I belong' - meditative loops of slow-sung darkness, creeping on a bed of ghost whispers. Also on the A-Side is the hi-hat wirling energy bomb 'Stockholm' - a stomping hommage to the scandinavian capitol, spinning around dirty loops of reverb echoes, accentuated by siren-like melody snippets. B1 is the experimental shuffle-beat piece 'You Want To' featuring the dreamy vocals of Wyoming. A brutally direct clap lets you fly but not fall of the cloud, while a twirling loop of raw fuzz accompanies the dynamic percussion, all formed around Wyomings warm and soothing voice. Finishing off the post-album EP is name giving 'White Sheets' - a slow-beat melody dessert, spinning dizzy synths into a mediative trance state, bordered by a dub-staggered drum arrangement. Sprinkles of fainted voices round off this hazy blend.[was]
