Jeremy Greenspan, best known as the singer for Junior Boys, presents his debut solo productions on Caribou/Daphni's Jialong label. Apparently the first of a few 12″s for Greenspan this year, this 1st edition is a stripped-down disco dedication. A-side's 'Crown Princess' works with a paucity of elements - hi-hat/kick pattern and trickling, silvery arpeggios with a clear streak of JB's melodic magic. Flipside's 'Guu' is more experimental, sounding something like a Berghain resident's offbeat B-side reduced for more hypnotic indie/disco appeal.
