Ike & Tina Turner

Ike & Tina Turner were an American musical duo consisting of Ike Turner and his then-wife Tina Turner. They were known for their energetic and soulful performances and their contributions to the development of rock and roll and R&B music in the 1960s and 1970s.

The duo's career began in the early 1960s, and they scored their first hit with the song "A Fool in Love" in 1960. They went on to release a string of successful singles, including "River Deep - Mountain High," "Proud Mary," and "Nutbush City Limits."

Despite their success as a musical duo, Ike and Tina Turner's personal relationship was tumultuous, and they divorced in 1978. Tina went on to have a successful solo career, while Ike continued to work in the music industry until his death in 2007.
