'Interpool is a label cooperative of the seven labels which appear on this compilation. These labels try to create, despite the musical differences, an independent network, it includes common distribution, promotion, tours and help for each other in general.
Another very important reason for our cooperation is the incredible rise of the prices for CD's, records and cassettes. This high price politics is forced by the multinational companies and is part of their plan to destroy the independent music scene. Music should not be a luxury article but should be affordable for everyone.
This compilation is part of our struggle for reasonable prices. The CD will be sold for a very special cheap price and it shows the range each label offers. It is the first issue of a series which comes out approximately every three months and includes new songs of current releases of the Interpool labels. All bands and labels on these compilations renounce on royalties.
