Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate was a British pop and soul band that was active in the 1970s and 1980s. The band was formed in London in 1969 and was originally called Hot Chocolate Band. The band's lineup consisted of lead singer Errol Brown, bassist Tony Wilson, drummer Larry Ferguson, and guitarists Harvey Hinsley and Patrick Olive.

Hot Chocolate's music was a mix of pop, soul, and disco, and their hits included "You Sexy Thing," "Every 1's a Winner," and "It Started with a Kiss." They were known for their energetic live performances and catchy, upbeat songs.

The band had several lineup changes over the years, with Brown being the only constant member. They released a total of 15 studio albums and sold over 50 million records worldwide.

Errol Brown was the lead singer and primary songwriter for Hot Chocolate, and he was known for his smooth, soulful voice and catchy melodies. He was born in Jamaica in 1943 and moved to London with his family at a young age.

Hot Chocolate was one of the most successful British pop bands of the 1970s and 1980s, and their music continues to be popular and widely loved today. The band was inducted into the Music Week Popcorn Hall of Fame in 2007, and Errol Brown was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in 2003 for his contributions to music.
