Felt

Felt, an English indie band formed in 1979 by Lawrence, blended jangle pop, post-punk, and alternative rock to create a unique sonic identity. Led by the enigmatic Lawrence, the band's early lineup featured Maurice Deebank's distinctive guitar work. Felt released ten albums between 1982 and 1988, including "Crumbling the Antiseptic Beauty" and "Forever Breathes the Lonely Word." Known for poetic lyrics and atmospheric soundscapes, they garnered critical acclaim. Despite frequent lineup changes, Felt maintained a consistent artistic vision. Lawrence dissolved the band in 1989, leaving a legacy that influenced subsequent indie and alternative rock acts.
