Erroll Garner

Errol Garner was an American jazz pianist and composer. He was born on June 15, 1921, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and began playing piano at a young age. Garner was known for his distinctive and virtuosic style of playing, which combined elements of swing, bebop, and stride piano.

Garner rose to fame in the 1940s and 1950s with hits such as "Misty," "Dreamy," and "Teach Me Tonight." He was also known for his improvisational skills and his ability to play complex chords and melodies with ease. Garner was admired by many other musicians, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Art Tatum.
