Element of Crime

Even though the name smells of a lot of 1980s existentialism - the band that still operates under that name has nothing to do with isms. Sven Regener, head and spokesman of the actually north German band, definitely has a good explanation for the unchangeability of the name, despite existential changes in terms of musical expression. First in English and somehow pretty guitar-y, the album "Weißes Papier" was released, after which everything was supposed to change. And it did. Musically somewhere between the Balkans and Bayou, the basic sympathizer Regener muses melancholically about the world. The Elements continue to apply this still meaningful recipe for success in new ways, but always successfully
