Ekseption

Ekseption was a Dutch progressive rock and classical fusion band formed in 1967. Led by pianist and composer Rick van der Linden, the group gained international acclaim for their unique approach to blending classical music with rock and jazz elements. Their self-titled debut album and subsequent releases, such as "Beggar Julia's Time Trip" and "Trinity," featured elaborate interpretations of classical compositions alongside original work. Ekseption's success spanned the late 1960s and 1970s, and they were considered pioneers in the symphonic rock genre.
