Dead or Alive, formed in 1980, is a British New Wave and dance-pop band led by the flamboyant frontman Pete Burns. Mixing synth-pop with Hi-NRG beats, their albums "Youthquake" and "Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know" garnered success.
