The titel track 'rush me' fuses the Steinbergian House style with the Lo-Fi charm of the roaring 20's. IT comes over slightly poppy but with a very relaxed and laid back groove. Steinberg at his best! Format:B's 'rush me' remix, that has been reduced to the original vocals comes over trippy and with a good dose of bongo's making it into a grooving party track. Steinberg's 'Es la Vida' is an elegant reduced tech house beauty. The rhythmic, percussive vocals hit on a very monotone but kicking bass line. A touch of a warm night by the sea in Spain! Format:B's interpretation of 'Es la Vida' concentrates on the vocals and some of the percussion from the original, and combines Steinberg's basics with a hypnotic synth-structure that boils up in the last third of the track until it finally explodes! All tracks aren't scared to admit that they're aiming for the peak time. 4* different styles. Kick ass![was]
