Bill Haley

Bill Haley (1925-1981) was an American musician who is considered one of the pioneers of rock and roll. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan and began his music career in the 1940s, playing country and western music with his group, the Saddlemen.

Haley's music was characterized by a blend of country, swing, and rhythm and blues influences, and his high-energy performances helped to popularize rock and roll in the United States and around the world. He and his band, The Comets, also appeared in several movies and television shows during the 1950s.
