Big Country, a powerhouse in the British rock scene, has left an indelible mark on the world of music! Formed in Dunfermline, Scotland, in 1981, the band brought a unique sound to the table, characterized by guitar-driven music that was often compared to the sound of bagpipes.

Stuart Adamson, the band's lead vocalist and guitarist, along with Bruce Watson, the band's other guitarist, developed a unique guitar technique that mimicked the uplifting and resonant sound of bagpipes. This sound was created by using the e-bow, a device that creates a magnetic field causing the guitar string to vibrate continuously, and a digital delay effect.
